RIGBY, Edna Elsie (nee ZALISCHUK) - Remembered for her warm and caring personality Edna led an amazing life as a wife and mother, career woman providing over 30 years of public service to the Ontario government, enjoying early retirement and travelling the globe.
She left this earth on August 30 with her children, Susan and MJ, her son-in-law Randy, granddaughter Caitlyn and grandson Evan at her side at North York General Hospital after sustaining a fall in her condo in which her injuries became catastrophic.
Edna's wishes were no funeral or viewing.
Following her cremation, Susan buried her ashes at Highland Memorial Gardens.
A gathering will be held on Saturday, September 22, 1:30-4 p.m. in her honour at The David Duncan House, 125 Moatfield Dr., North York.
