JUNYK, Maria - Passed away at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Center in Toronto, Ontario on Wednesday November 28, 2018 after a prolonged illness at the age of 94.
She leaves behind her son Myron (Myra) and grandchildren Stephanie (Daniel Soltys) and Natalie (Taras Rosocha); her son Roman (Bonnie) and grandson Nathan.
She also leaves behind her four great-grandchildren Cassandra and Nicholas (Stephanie and Daniel’s children) and Julian and Ella (Natalie and Tara’s children).
Maria loved her family, her church, her native Ukraine and Canada.
Visiting will be held at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Center on Thursday November 29, 2018 from 6-7pm with Panakhyda starting at 7pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday November 30, 2018 at 10 a.m at the Ukrainian Canadian Care Center followed by an internment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ukrainian Canadian Care Centre.
