NALYWAYKO, Meedy (Vares) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Meedy on November 29, 2018, at the age of 87, peacefully at the Ukrainian Care Centre (UCC), in the comfort of her family.
Predeceased by her parents, Oswald and Alma, and sister Aino Saranchuk.
Beloved wife to Ivan, devoted mother to Natalia Visekruna (Simo), Nestor, and Svitlana Sobczuk (Bob), and loving grandmother to Miroslav and Sanja.
Meedy was kind and giving, and was completely devoted to her family. She will be sorely missed.
A very special thank you to the Doctors, Nurses, PSW's at UCC for their attentive and compassionate care.
A private family funeral will be held at St. Volodymyr's Chapel in Oakville on December 3, 2018 with interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations to UCC would be appreciated.
