DEVAI, Irene Elizabeth (nee TOTH)  - 1933-2018  It is with great sadness that the family of Irene announce the passing of their wife, mother, sister, grandma and friend.

She passed away November 29, 2018 with her family by her side knowing that she was much-loved.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, John, her children John (Cindy) and Susan (David) and her three grandchildren, Candace (Paul), Jennifer (Ryan) and Megan of Oakville and brother, Steven Toth (Jean) of Hanover.

Irene was born and raised in Port Colborne, Ontario, where she would meet and marry the love of her life John. They would embark on a lifetime adventure together.

They enjoyed many years of curling with their dear friends at both the Oakville Curling Club and The Mississaugua Golf and Country Club.

They also had many exciting travels around the world filled with wonderful stories. Irene was very devoted and fiercely protective of her family. She was the best wife, mom and grandma a person could want. She adored her three granddaughters and they were the light of her life. She will be missed beyond imagination. Our memories and stories about her will help us carry on until we meet again.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at The Mississaugua Golf and Country Club, where they have been members for the past 38 years. Interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Irene can be made to the Salvation Army or March of Dime.
