MARKELL, Daniel 'Dan' - Born November 5, 1959, passed away suddenly at home on December 4, 2018 at the age of 59.
With a passion for all things mechanical, Dan spent the majority of his life behind the wheel of a vehicle or under the hood.
He dedicated his life's work to helping others as a well known member of the Ottawa tow truck industry and relished his free time at the family cottage.
Predeceased by his parents, the late Fred and Doreen, and his late brother David (Anne).
Dan is survived by his sons Jamie (Melissa) and Christopher, his sister Diane Maryniuk (Patrick Smith), and his three grandaughters Hailey, Holly and Ivy.
Dan also leaves behind his niece Kayleigh Read (Michael) and nephew Alexander Maryniuk.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
