McCONNELL, Sandra Virgina (nee WHALEN) - November 29, 2018, sadly passed in her 81st year surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Alice and Stanley Whalen, beloved husband James Barry McConnell and sister Jay Whalen. Loving Mother of Scott Grant (Norma) and Christopher Grant (Jennie).
Grandchildren Ashley, Nicole and great-grandchildren Braden, Emilie and Lily.
Sandy will be missed by her family, friends and her buddy JJ.
Sandy was a strong and successful women.
She enjoyed a long career in real estate both as an agent who enjoyed working with her clients and then later as a manager until she retired in 2011. In her retirement, she enjoyed volunteering for the tenants association.
In helping to organize social events to create community where she lived, she met many new friends.
Private family interment with a memorial to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
