Aymer HughAYMER, Hugh Michael "Mike"  - Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Thursday, November 29, 2018 at the age of 68.

Beloved husband of 40 years to the late Lynn Karen (nee Shamanski).

Will be deeply missed by his children Andrea and Jeffrey.

Mike is survived by his sister Patsy (Peter O'Meara), his mother Glenne and will be greatly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

We will remember his curiosity, integrity, dry sense of humour and love of sweets. Those closest to Mike will cherish memories of Barry's Bay and the Aymer family cottage throughout the years.

Our deepest gratitude to Dr. Mavrogiannis and the support from the Dorothy Ley Hospice, Dr. Marmoreo, Dr. Thorneloe and CarePartners who participated in Mike's care.

A reception will be hosted by the family on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 1 to 4 p.m. Please bring your best memories and stories to share.

After a period of healing, the family will hold a private interment ceremony.

For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike's name to the Canadian Hearing Society. "Michael, Michael motorcycle".
