MacNeil MargMACNEIL, Margaret Josephine - R.N., B.A. - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Margaret Josephine in her 76th year on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Etobicoke General Hospital.

Born in Christmas Island, Nova Scotia, the daughter of the late Ambrose and Mary (nee Delorey).

Survived by her sisters Teresa and Sarah of Toronto, Mary (Wilfred, predeceased) Clarkin of North Wiltshire, PEI, Elizabeth (Leon, predeceased) Seymour of Scarborough and brother of Kenneth of Christmas Island, Nova Scotia, her nephews Patrick, Alan and Philip Clarkin, her niece Tracy Lampron and seven grandnieces and nephews and a great-grandniece and numerous cousins and relatives.

Graduate of Royal Victoria Hospital, Montreal and St. F. X. University in Antigonish. She worked for many years at Toronto General Hospital in Emergency. She was dedicated to her profession and provided very professional nursing care.

She was a person of high integrity, kindness and utmost generosity.

Margaret had a love for her canines: Oliver, Chaucer, Emma and Arthur. Heather will miss her.

We thank Dr. Conter and Dr. Cheung and all the healthcare staff who cared for Margaret over the past year.

Resting at Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel, Toronto, on Thursday, December 27, 2018 from 2-5 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Benedict Church, 2194 Kipling Avenue, on Friday, December 28, 2018 at 10 a.m.
