WEINER, William Daniel - Son of the late Charlotte (ne Parker) and Emanuel Weiner, passed away peacefully at Bethell Hospice on December 24, 2018.
Willie, as he was known, was born in Philadelphia, PA on February 5, 1954. He grew up in Montreal, completed his Master's degree in Psychology at Antioch University New England, and then worked and lived in Massachusetts and Newfoundland before settling in Ontario.
A kind and skilled child and family therapist, Willie improved the lives of innumerable children and adults.
He loved being outdoors, walking the Bruce Trail and tending to his property in Mono.
Willie will be deeply missed by his son Joshua, his sister Ruth and husband Hy, nephew Jonathan and his wife Jessica, niece Beilah and her husband David, brother Ralph and his wife Joyce, nieces Rachel and Jennifer, his dear friends and his adorable dog Lulu.
Funeral service will be held at Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, Toronto on Wednesday, December 26 at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation or to the Bruce Trail Conservancy.
