BUTCHER, Kenneth - Passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 24, 2018, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, at the age of 83 years.
Beloved husband of Verna (Forhan) Butcher.
Ken was born in Toronto, Ontario a son of the late Edward and Frances (Belbin) Butcher.
Loving father of Susan Vale and husband David Andrews and Debbie and husband Norm Kimball.
Ken is survived by his sister Carolynne and husband Wayne Hutchinson and his nieces, nephews and friends.
Predeceased by his brother Barry Butcher.
At age 16 Ken had worked on the railway which generated a great love for trains. In his later years Ken built hobby trains and collectibles. Verna and Ken would spend much of their summers on the water enjoying a relaxing boat cruise and fishing.
At Ken's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
