PHILLIPS, Michael “Mike” Roy - Passed peacefully in his 73rd year at Scarborough General Hospital on December 25, 2018 following a massive stroke.
Beloved husband of Susan for 43 years.
Loving father of Allison and Jonathan (Victoria).
Dear brother of David (Jane) and Christine, brother-in-law of Janice (Gregg), and Stephen (Diane).
Michael will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Michael was an elementary school teacher for over 30 years with the Scarborough Board of Education and later the TDSB. Throughout his life he loved playing and coaching baseball, music, being a handyman, and finding a good deal.
A celebration of life will take place in in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
