GUGLIELMI, Giovanna (nee Ganis) - (October 28, 1928 - March 30, 2019) - Passed away peacefully on March 30, 2019.
She will be reunited with her loving husband Giovanni.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter Claudia (late Armando), her son, Romano (Dawna), her grandchildren, Fiorella (Dino), Sara (Flavio), Marina (Trevor) and John, and her four greatgrand kids, Oliver, Daniel, Xavier and Damian.
Born in 1928, in the small town of Zompicchia, her beginnings were simple. She was raised in a large loving family of ten siblings. She immigrated to Canada in 1956 with her husband and two young kids to begin a new life. She made many sacrifices along the way, but lived a full and wonderful life. Married for 66 years, she was a devoted wife and loving mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was blessed to know her four great-grandsons. She was close to her siblings, Rina and Renato. She had many friends at the Veneto Centre where she spent many afternoons playingcards. To know Giovanna was to know she was one of a kind. She was beautiful, elegant, proud, charming, and entertaining. She was always positive and full of life. And she always had the best Friulan expressions to suit any situation. Mandi, Mamme. Viewing will be held at Scott Funeral Home, Woodbridge Chapel, 7776 Kipling Ave. Woodbridge, ON, on Tuesday, April 2nd, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 100 Bainbridge Ave., Woodbridge, ON, on Wednesday, April 3rd, at 9:30am. Entombment at Glendale Cemetery, Etobicoke.
