Beesley TimBEESLEY, Timothy - Passed peacefully on Sunday March 31, 2019 at the age of 75 in Toronto.

Tim leaves behind his beloved family - wife of 49 years Jane, three children Blair (Zenobia), Bridget (Bryan) and Dale (Jennifer) and eight adored grandchildren Anaita, Neville & Aidan; Noah, Matilda & Charlie; Carolyn & Andrew.

Tim graduated from the University of Toronto B.Sc in Applied Geology in 1965 and earned an M.Sc from the University of Colorado in 1967 before traveling to Australia where he started his long and fulfilling career as an Exploration Geologist and Professional Engineer.

In Perth, Australia he met and married Jane Freeman before eventually returning home to Canada in 1972. He later worked across Canada from the NWT to Labrador while raising a family in Toronto and eventually operating his own consulting firm for many years.

He was a proud father who provided opportunities for sports, camps, and studies while taking time to enjoy the outdoors, including an appreciation for birds. His thoughtfulness, quick wit and quiet determination will be missed.

Special thanks to all of the staff in the Palliative Care Unit at St. Michael’s Hospital for their tremendous support, care and kindness over the last months of Tim’s life, he was, and the family is, forever grateful.

The service will take place at G. H. Hogle Funeral Home, Etobicoke on Friday April 5, 2019 at 11:00am.

In lieu of flowers the family would like you to donate to a charity of your choice.
