GRINDLAY, Kathleen - (14 December, 1936 – 1 April, 2019)
Kathleen Grindlay passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 1, 2019 at Trilogy Long Term Care.
Cherished mother to Carol Ann (Peter), Elaine (Dan), and Lynn (Paul). Grandmother to Rob & Mark, Lauren, John & Garrett, and Stacy & Samantha. Great-grandmother to Christopher, Olivia & Page, Tyson, and Carson.
Kathleen rejoins her beloved husband Charles, her parents Robert and Catherine Hughes, her grandson Jason, her sister Betty, and her brother Robert.
Kathleen will be remembered as the rock of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to all. She will be greatly missed!
Visitation will take place on Sunday April 7th at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East in Scarborough, from 2 - 6 p.m.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday April 8th at St. Mark's United Church, 115 Orton Park Road in Scarborough, at 12 noon, followed by a reception downstairs.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathleen's memory to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
