GOULD, Brian Franklin - Passed away peacefully on July 24, 2019 at the young age of 66.

After enjoying seven years cancer free, he made the most of his life by spending time with family, travelling and boating.  Then the cancer returned (Multiple Myeloma) with a vengeance and not without many complications.

Brian was very proud of his family and we in turn were so proud of him. He leaves behind his beloved wife Marion of 35 years and two cherished children, Derek and Amanda.

He was Papa to his beautiful grandson Bentley.

We wish to recognize the dedication, professionalism and compassionate care we received from the Oncology and Palliative Care units at Brampton Civic Hospital. Special acknowledgement of the support staff who went over and above their call of duty to make Brian’s dying wish possible. His wish was to go to the Marina and see "Yacht Sea” one last time.  Thanks to Angels of Flight we were able to make his wish come true. His final days were spent at Bethell Hospice where he was cared for with dignity, empathy and love.  Marion, Derek and Amanda were at Brian’s bedside until his last breath.

A casual funeral service and celebration of his life will be held at Brampton Funeral Home & Cemetery, Brampton on Thursday August 8, 2019 from 4pm – 8pm.  A private family interment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Bethell Hospice would be appreciated.
