Jessome CarolJESSOME, Carol Ann - Carol Ann Jessome passed away peacefully at home, after a brief battle with cancer on August 2, 2019, at the age of 73.

Carol was born on August 20th, 1945 to Charlie and Carmella Roberts (née Poirier) in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, one of their 18 children.

Carol was predeceased by her parents and various siblings.

Carol will be deeply missed by Bill, her husband of 24 years; children Misty Murakami, Melody Murakami, Mark Murakami, Pamela Jessome, Carolyn Jessome and Eddie Jessome (deceased).

She will also be deeply missed by grandchildren Dustin Wareham, Ashley and Alex McKeown, Toby Murakami, Jasmine Black, Maggie, Grace and Kate Murakami, Billy and Olivia Jessome, Devon, Dakota and Deseray Jessome and unofficially adopted grandkids Jayden and Rayden Robertson (parents Roxanne and Keith); a large extended family and many close friends from Lyndhurst Trailer Park.

Carol will be best remembered for her stubborn determination, unwavering honesty, raunchy sense of humour and appreciation of shock value… she loved to catch people off guard and make them laugh!

Carol was very proud of her large extended family and loved decorating for visitors at Christmas time, going to the trailer each spring and surprised everyone by falling in love with Edgar the cat.

Services for Carol will take place at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home, 4115 Lawrence Avenue East, Scarborough, Ontario, on Friday, August 9th. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to begin at 1 p.m. Cremation has already taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in Carol’s memory.
