BRULE, Ernest (Ernie)  -  Peacefully, after a long battle, at the Stedman Hospice in Brantford on August 6, 2019 in his 83rd year.

Predeceased by Loving wife Patricia (nee Robertson).

Loving father of Kevin, Robert, Scott and Kirk.

He will be missed by his loving grandchildren Shelley Lohnes (nee Brule), Zachary, May, Ryan and predeceased by Eric (Aug 9/2009). He will be missed by all his great grandchildren.

Predeceased by siblings Charlie, Cecile, Gerry, Roy and Adele.

Will be missed by siblings Theresa Duffy (nee Brule), Rod and Jean-Louis. He will be missed by Aunt Gloria and uncle Don, Aunt Sylvia, Aunt Sandria and Uncle John.

By all his extended family on the Robertson side.

Remembered by all his friends from the Gloucester Hydro (now Hydro Ottawa) where he had worked and retired from after 20 years and the fellowship of which he was a member for almost 33 years. Thanks to all the caring staff of the V.O.N., Crystal, Eva and all the PSWs.

Thanks to all the staff and doctors at the Brantford General Hospital Emergency room and Stedman Hospice of Brantford. As per Ernie’s instructions there will be no funeral services.

A small family celebration of life and interment of Patricia and Ernie will be held in the fall at a location that was special to them. Donations to Stedmans Community Hospice in Brantford in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
