Janoscak Quinlan MarlaneJANOSCHAK QUINLAN, Lisa Marlane 'Marnie' - In the wee hours of Sunday August 4, 2019, peacefully and suddenly left her home in Innisfil Ontario for her heavenly home.

Marnie was the beloved wife of Don Quinlan, mother of Jesse Scott, and the daughter of Lee Janoschak.

Marnie is predeceased by her father, Frank Janoschak.

Growing up in Bramalea Ontario with her siblings, Sue McCallum, Ed Sharkey, Anne Zack, Melody (Janoschak) Preston and Mark Janoschak, Marnie was an active member of the Chinguacousy Figure Skating Club as well as many of the Peel Board of Education and the city of Brampton’s musical and drama companies.

Her summers were spent at the family’s favourite location, Chesley Lake Camp. There she played and sang and sang and played. As a young teen Marnie became part of the staff. The family friendships formed at Chesley last a lifetime.

As an adult, she was often seen performing in many of the Brampton area’s nightspots, entertaining all with her beautiful voice and stage presence. It is there that she met and fell in love with her talented husband to be, Don.

In June 2000, she graduated from George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology with a degree in American Sign Language - English Interpreter. Working in Educational, Legal, Theatrical and Medical venues, she was a staunch advocate for the deaf community and a respected colleague in multiple interpreter affiliations.

June 2007 saw her and Don marry and move to Innisfil where they continued to use their musical talents hosting entertaining pool parties.

It was then that declines in her health intensified and lead to her eventual passing.

She leaves behind a large number of aunts, uncles, and multiple generations of nieces, nephews and cousins. Among them are great aunt, Ruth Simpson; Sandi and Don Desabrais; Rick and Marie Simpson; Brian and Bryce Desabrais; Bob, Merita, Taylor and Jordan Desabrais; Ryk, Ester, Cale, Owen and Issac Simpson; Season, Joshua and Aly Simpson; Kimberly, Mike, Brent, Kaidin and Nathan Pelland; Cindy MacNeil; Sandy, Michael, Sylvia McCallum and Alley Herrfort; Chryssy and Zayne Janoschak; Jeremy, Rickson, Oakley, Callum, Elizabeth, and Maggie Lee Sharkey; Brad, Katya and Emery Sharkey; Lynda (Simpson) and John Bird; Crystal Paulitzki, Amanda Bradley and Jeff Chillman.

Marnie was known for her beautiful smile and joyful laughter as well as her compassionate empathetic nature. Visitation will be held at Brampton Funeral Home, Brampton on August 15th from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. The funeral service will take place in the chapelm at 2:00 PM followed by interment.
