Pelley RalphPELLEY, Ralph Thomas - 1958 - 2019 - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ralph, age 60 of Toronto Ontario on September 19, 2019.

Born in Antigonish, Nova Scotia he was the son of Hanna Fleming (Pelley) and the late Thomas Ash. 

He was raised by his maternal grandparents the late Murray and Helen (Mansfield) Pelley in Sunnyville, Guysborough County.  

Ralph was a steel worker for 40+ years. He was a hard worker and was loved by all.

He enjoyed playing cards especially poker, and family gatherings. Ralph was an excellent storyteller with very funny spot on impersonations that would really make you laugh. He was kind, loving and compassionate. He was very understanding, a good listener and a confidant. He was predeceased by his twin brother Robert. 

He is survived by his daughter Shayla Parris; granddaughters Shania, Shakayla, and Shaveya; great-grandson Dezai, brothers Duane (Jay), David, and Gerald, Wally; sisters Sharlene, Margaret (Peggy) and Thelma (Cookie), Wendy; aunts Brenda, Lois, Rita, and Evelyn; uncles Ambrose, George, Roger, and Frank. 

Also survived by his best friend Betty Izzard, many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and extended family members.  

He was predeceased by his son Shmar and long time companion Velvet Parris; uncles Richard, Ralph, Bernard and brother Danny.  

Thank you kindly to all the family and friends for your loving support at this sad time. 

Ralph will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by all, especially those who sought his advice and guidance. His daughter, granddaughters and great grandson were the light of his life.  

Visitation and Service will be held on Saturday September 28, 2019 at Cardinal Funeral Home, Toronto from 1 - 3 pm. Celebration of Life Reception from 4-7pm.
