Park MiaePARK, Miae - Miae Park, age 72, of Toronto, Ontario, passed on December 12, 2019 at Centenary Hospital with family by her side.

She was born to the late Pu Hyok Kim and Pun Ok Kim on October 18, 1947 in Yongchon-dong, Korea.

Growing up she spent much of her time with her classmates from SookMyung High School, making life long friendships that she cherished.

In her 20's she moved to Los Angeles where she studied at nearby Woodbury College graduating with a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Interior Design. In Los Angeles she had her first born son Phillip and became a practicing real estate agent. After moving back to Korea for a short while, she came to Toronto where she married Jong Soo Park and had 2 sons, Michael Park and Daniel Park.

While raising her sons in Toronto she would work in different careers, mainly in interior design and real estate.

Miae lived life passionately and with an open mind to new ideas and experiences. She enjoyed classical music, fine arts, interior decorating, cooking and entertaining, furniture design and upholstery, making her own clothes, reading a good autobiography, and hiking. She delighted in the beauty in nature, had a wonderful fashion sense and always dressed wonderfully.

Above all she cherished her family and friends. She often said that we should tell the important people in our lives that we love them every day because we never know how long we have together.

Our family would also like to send our gratitude to the exceptional nurses and doctors at Rouge Valley Centenary hospital and all the health professionals that helped her in her life.

Her love and kindness will be missed and she will never be forgotten.

Visitation at Pine Hills funeral centre, Toronto on December 21st from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral there at 11:00 a.m.  Burial to follow.
