CHENCINSKI, Hanita - (April 10, 1948 – April 11, 2020) -

Beloved daughter of the late Rachel and Sam Chencinski, passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital from complications of the Covid-19 virus.

She will be missed by her brother Aki Chencinski and sister in law, Gail. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews, Alissa Davis, Stacey & Phil Taube and Josh & Carly Chencinski.

She was a Great Aunt to Jonah, Liam and Tanner, Jordan, Brady and Taylor, Leo, Cody and Jake.

Hanita was predeceased by her longtime companion, Suzanne Zalen.

The family wants to especially thank Marilyn Pytka for her endless support and caring during the last two very difficult years of Hanita’s life. We also want to express our gratitude for the tremendous support and compassion provided by the doctors and nurses at St. Michael's Hospital ICU and Ace unit who were incredible during Hanita’s latest battle.

Private service entrusted with Steeles Memorial Chapel, Thornhill.

If desired, memorial donations may be directed to St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation Covid-19 relief, or a charity of your choice.
