BALLANTYNE, Andrew Watson - (November 14, 1932 - April 22, 2020) - In his 88th year – born in Glasgow, Scotland.
Beloved husband of Ellen (nee Bradley) of 55 years.
Much loved Dad to Andrea (Steven) Thomson and John. Grandpa to Christina (Derrick) Peacock, Mitchell, Cameron & Stewart Thomson. Great Grandpa to Shalee, Barrett & Charlotte.
Andy spent many years in the British Merchant Navy meeting Ellen on leave at a dance in Glasgow, and oh how they loved to dance together. He had the opportunity to see much of this world before settling in Canada and raising a family with Ellen. He was a true Scott who enjoyed a wee dram.
Anyone who knew Andy knows that his love of the game of golf bordered on obsession. May your swing be straight and the ball fly far. May your round be blessed with no worse than par.
A cremation has taken place, celebration of life will be held at a later date.
