FAZIO, Giuseppe - (May 12, 1933 - April 23, 2020) - It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Giuseppe Fazio at the age of 86.
Giuseppe immigrated to Canada in 1956 and married his soulmate, Saveria Fazio, in 1958.
He was a loving father to Francesco (Stefania) and Mario (Rosa), and will forever be cherished by his grandchildren Joseph (Dana) Alessandra (Farshad), Olivia and Antonio.
He will be greatly missed by his surviving brothers and sisters, Filomena, Francesco (Anita) and Salvatore (Chiara).
Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Maria Pontieri and siblings Tommaso, Pietro, and brother in law Leonardo. Giuseppe will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Nonno worked tirelessly as a devoted and proud construction worker, but above all else he cherished his time with family and friends. Nonno, we know that you’re dancing again and growing a beautiful garden in heaven.
Nonno would have loved to celebrate his life with you at this time, but due to circumstances with COVID-19, we will be delaying his celebration of life to a later date.
