MILLARD, David - February 13, 1931 - April 23, 2020 - Passed away peacefully on April 23, 2020 at Mt. Sinai Hospital, Toronto.

David had retired from years of service as a Human Resources Professional with the Ontario government.

David was born in Calgary, Alberta. As the son of a Russian noblewoman and a Canadian father, David was proud of his rich heritage/ancestry. He had a real passion for history.

David was well travelled, well informed and had an interest in and appreciation of different cultures of the world. He was a wonderful raconteur, who drew many close to him to listen with keen interest to his fascinating stories and experiences.

He will be remembered fondly for his kindness, thoughtfulness, caring attitude, generosity and great sense of humour and will be sorely missed by members of his adopted family and friends who appreciated and loved him.

Special thanks to the medical team of Mt. Sinai Hospital for their excellent and tireless care of David during the last weeks of his life.

All services are private.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Mt. Sinai Hospital.
