Tweyman MarilynTWEYMAN, Marilyn - It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Marilyn Tweyman (Steinhauer) at her home on June 21, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

Daughter of the late Booky and David Steinhauer, she is survived by her loving husband Dr. Sidney Nusinowitz and her adoring children Michael Tweyman and Hailey and Ryan Schnier.

Beloved stepmother to Rachael and Allen Greenwald, Leah and Brian Bloom and Jeremy Nusinowitz and Kim Kozloff, and devoted Bubie Marilyn to Jenna and Ethan, Jonah, Hadley and Macy, and Jack and Dylan.

Dear sister and sister-in-law to Trudelle Laker, Stephen and Laura Steinhauer, and Freda and Joseph Naiman.

Adored aunt, great aunt, and friend.

Marilyn loved working as a teacher for 32 years and continued to work after her retirement. Her altruism and selflessness was unparalleled, as she was a timeless and much respected volunteer at Adath Israel Synagogue.

She had many varied interests including interior decorating, art, the ballet, and playing tennis. Marilyn was widely known for her delicious biscotti, which she gladly baked for everyone's simchas.

More important than her career or her passions, Marilyn was a fundamentally good and caring person. Marilyn's strength and resolve inspired her friends and family, who will remember her with the utmost respect and love.

A special thank you to Dr. Michael Raphael and Dr. Ellen Warner for their excellent and compassionate care.

A celebration of Marilyn's life will be held at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to Adath Israel Synagogue, (416) 635-5340 or at adathisrael.com/donations.
