ABSHEZ, Beverley - On Monday, June 22, 2020, at Sunnybrook Hospital.

Beverley Abshez, devoted wife for 62 years of Charles Abshez.

Loving mother and mother-in-law of Sharon and Len Green, Melody Nunes, and Rosalyn Abshez.

Loving bubbie of Alayna, Josh and Joey Tobe, Katie Nunes and Cass Sacco, Max and Phoebe Green.

Beverley was wonderful, kind and loving, and her children and grandchildren adored and loved her very much. She loved people and they loved her back. During Beverley's life she touched the hearts of many people. She gave to more charities than anyone we knew, and also gave of her time acting as president of Pioneer Women. She loved to travel with our father, and she loved life. She was an eternal optimist, and saw the good in everyone, her cup was always half full.

She very intelligent and gifted with numbers. She worked until she was 78 as a bookkeeper and absolutely loved her job.

She enjoyed a close relationship with her brothers Sam and Morris, and spoke with them and saw them regularly. She loved spending time with her family, and having everyone over for Shabbos dinner, where she served her legendary chicken and vegetable soups, which her grandchildren loved. Our mother will live on in our hearts forever, and we will always miss her.

A Family and Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 24th, 2020.

Memorial donations may be made to Beit Halochem Canada and the Canada Cancer Society.
