De Luca GiuseppeDe LUCA, Giuseppe - God called Giuseppe peacefully on Wednesday June 24, 2020 at the age of 89.

He will be forever missed by his loving wife, Giuseppina. Cherished by his dear children, Gilda (Robert Martellacci) and Bruna (Daniel DiMonte).

Proud Nonno to David (Sabrina), Nicholas (Diana), Nicole and Matthew. Adoring great grandfather to Luca, Samuel and Oliver.

Giuseppe will always be remembered by his siblings, Luciano (Pamela) and Adriana, his sisters-in-law Caterina, Dora (Antonio Di Grigoli) and Giovanna. He is now reunited in Heaven with his siblings, Giacinto and Marco, his sister-in-law, Vera, nephew Vince and his brothers-in-laws, Nello DiIntino, Domenic and Tito Tozzi.

He will be held dear in the hearts of his family, relatives, and many friends. Joe will be remembered for his smile, his hearty laugh, his kindness to all, and his willingness to add a helping hand. Joe was a rare breed who always ‘stepped up’.

Visitations will take place at the Vescio Funeral Home Woodbridge Chapel (8101 Weston Rd.) on Friday June 26th from 4 - 9 p.m.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday June 27th at 9:30 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Woodbridge (Limited capacity). Private family interment to follow.

Donations in his honour may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

**The government has implemented that all attendees at funerals must always wear a mask.
Masks are required at all churches and cemeteries. Those in attendance for services are required to bring their masks to the church and cemetery or you will not be permitted to attend the service.

As some of the restrictions are being lifted the Bereavement Authority of Ontario has posted their guidelines of what we are able to do. https://thebao.ca/bao_attendanceguidance_june15_2020/

We can have public visitations with a maximum of 50 people in attendance per visitation room

We can have funerals taking place at the church which allows for up to 100 to 150 people to be in attendance in the Vaughan area (once maximum capacity has been reached no exceptions will be made to allow for more friends to enter)

We can have from 10 people up to 50 people if outdoors in attendance at the cemetery.

We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable and meet us at the church for the funeral Mass.

We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the funeral home on the funeral day and at the cemetery only.
