LAKE, Frances Shirley (nee Strilkiwski) - Frances Shirley Lake (nee Strilkiwski) passed away peacefully and on her own terms on June 22, 2020, at around 7:00 pm.
Born in Ethelbert, Manitoba on November 7, 1943. She was predeceased by her father Mike Strilkiwski, her mother Nellie Hnybida, and her brothers Walter and Bill.
Frances will be deeply missed by her children, Karen and Kimberley; grandchildren, Bailey, Cooper, Oskar and Silka; and many more family members and friends.
We had a wonderful celebration of life on Sunday, June 21st, with so many good friends and relatives retelling our precious memories with Frances. My mother was filled with love and said it was more than she could ever ask for. It was a beautiful parting celebration. Thank you to all those who were there and for making it a very magical and impactful good-bye.
As per Frances' wishes, a private cremation has taken place.
