HERMENEGILDO, Antonio - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather. God called Antonio on June 24, 2020 at the age of 78.

Devoted husband to Teresa. Adoring father to Tina (Gino), David (Sylvia) and Diane (Shane).

Loving grandfather to Isabella, Elysia, Andre and Elliot.

Antonio will be held dear in the hearts of his many friends and relatives.

A visitation will be held at the Vescio Funeral Home “Toronto Chapel” (2080 Dufferin Street) on Sunday June 28th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Followed by a funeral service on Monday June 29th at St. Anthony’s church (1037 Bloor St. West) at 9:30am.

In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Antonio.

The government has implemented that all attendees at funerals must always wear a mask. As some of the restrictions are being lifted the Bereavement Authority of Ontario has posted their guidelines of what we are able to do. https://thebao.ca/bao_attendanceguidance_june15_2020/
Public visitations can take place at our Toronto Chapel with a maximum of 30 people in attendance per visitation room.

Funerals may take place at the church which allows for up to 30 percent of the church capacity to be in attendance in the Toronto area. That number depends on the capacity of that specific parish. (once maximum capacity has been reached no exceptions will be made to allow for more friends to enter)

It is mandatory for family and friends attending the church and cemetery to wear masks.
Please bring your mask with you to the church, and cemetery. If you are not wearing a mask, you will not be permitted to attend the service at the church or cemetery.
We can have from 10 people up to 50 people if outdoors in attendance at the cemetery.
Each cemetery has their own policies, which may allow or limit these numbers.

We are encouraging all friends to come to the funeral home during the visitation periods if you are comfortable.
We are asking for only the most immediate family members to join us at the funeral home on the funeral day and at the cemetery only.
