De Sousa ElviraDe SOUSA, Elvira Costa - (November 28, 1961 - June 25, 2020) -

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Elvira Costa De Sousa.

She is survived by her parents Manuel and Ines, her sister Gabriela, and her children Jason and Brittany.

Elvira was a supermom who always prioritized the needs of her family above all else. She was selfless, thoughtful, and loving. Her children were her entire world and she supported them in all of their endeavours. From watching Jason’s soccer games to helping Brittany bake, Elvira’s love for her children was unwavering. Her relationship with her kids far surpassed your average mother. She was their mother, friend, and biggest fan! She was always there to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She was forever the peace maker and problem solver.

She loved reading novels, trying new recipes, and doing anything crafty! Her most favourite pastime was crocheting blankets for all of the babies in the family! She was the most meticulous eater on the planet and loved a good KitKat or Aero chocolate bar! Nothing made her happier than the Christmas season which always included her immaculate Christmas Village, a plethora of decorative snowmen, and of course, the Swiss Chalets Festive Special! She loved all things camping, and had no tolerance for those of us who preferred the indoors! Her most endearing quality was the way in which she spoke her mind, and was always unapologetically her authentic self!

Although we are shocked and saddened by her sudden passing, we know that she is now at peace and no longer suffering. She will be dearly missed.

We Three -- Forever and Always.

Arrangements with Scott funeral home, Mississauga chapel.
