ZISA, Guiseppe - On Friday September 4, 2020 Giuseppe (also known as Pippo), passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at the age of 90.
Guiseppe was born on December 24th, 1929 In Pachino, Sicily Italy to Salvatore and Francesca Zisa.
Loving husband to Maria, father of Franca (Tom) and Rosaria (Domenic), and devoted grandfather to Isabella, Alessia, Salvatore, William & Joseph, Guiseppe emigrated to Canada in 1965 where he devoted his life to supporting his family.
When not tirelessly building his business in paving, he spent his time at the Cottage and had a passion for Gardening, Fishing & Hunting.
Never having lost his desire to learn and grow, he will be remembered most for his strength of character, gentle personality and loving smile.
Friends may be received at the Heritage Funeral Centre, Toronto on Monday September 7th from 3 to 7 pm. The funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 8th at 10am from St. Brigid’s Parish, 300 Woverleigh Blvd, Toronto. Followed by Entombment which will be limited to immediate family members only, due to Covid.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association in memory of Giuseppe Zisa.
