Bacchus JayBACCHUS, Julieta “Jay” Inocente - It is with great sadness that the family of Julieta “Jay” Inocente Bacchus, aged 79, announce her passing. Julieta was born on Sunday, February 23, 1941 in Baybay, Leyte, Philippines and died peacefully in her home in North York on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 3:43pm.

Julieta raised three sons, Jojo, Jerry and James Bangay, and her only daughter, Janette Bangay. Julieta was a pure and kind soul. She worked for many years as a midwife in her hometown, and around the age of 40, spent her time as a caregiver in Hong Kong where she learned a bit of Mandarin.

She is now reunited with her loving parents, Matutina and Juanito, and siblings, Henry, Caesar, and Nenita in Heaven.

Julieta lived an immensely full life and touched the hearts of every individual she encountered, whether they were close family or accomplete stranger. She will be remembered and loved dearly as a friend, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a mother, and a grandmother, forever and always.

Arrangements with DeMarco Funeral Home, Toronto.  A mass will be held at St. Wilfrid’s Roman Catholic Church, 1675 Finch Ave. W. Toronto on Monday, November 16th, 2020 at 9:30am with an Interment to follow.
