Amedeo ChasAMEDEO, Charles “Chas” - Passed away suddenly on November 29, 2020 at the age of 67.

Beloved husband of Susanne Amedeo.

Loving father of Megan (Josh) Speers and Melissa (George) Margie.

Dearly loved grandfather of Lucas, Addison and Jane.

Chas will be greatly missed by his mom Joanne Amedeo, sisters Linda (Ed) Palmer, Gina (Richard) Preston, Gia Amedeo, his mother and father in-law Roy and Lois Horner, along with Karen (Frank) Campbell, Rob (Lori) Horner, Russ Horner, all of his nieces and nephews, and long time friend Gary Roach.

He is reunited with his father Richard Amedeo, mother Helen Thompson and brother Richie Amedeo.

Forever in the hearts of his extended family and friends.

He was the official photographer for our community BinderTwine Festival for many years.

Chas was committed to his community in many ways. He started the Kleinburg Men’s hockey team and designed the uniform for his baseball team to wear proudly. If the “Old Boys” needed help with community events, Chas was always there to lend a helping hand.

Chas loved history, and the study of flags. We called him our resident Vexillologist. Each flag he owned held a special meaning and he flew them proudly for all to see.

A private family service will be held and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when we can gather safely without COVID restrictions.

If desired, you may make donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cortelluci-Vaughan Hospital.
