De JESUS, Divina Isidra - (1939 - 2020) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Divina on November 30th, 2020.
She is now rejoined with her parents Cristino and Elena.
Beloved wife of Ricardo Dizon de Jesus and loving mother to Edward Martin de Jesus and Mark Steven de Jesus (Hue Kim Khuu).
Great Grandmother to Austen Nolan de Jesus. Loving sister to Laurello Samonte Anasco Sr. ( Lolita), Dario Samonte Anasco (Dolores) and Lilia Natalia Santos (Virgilio).
She will be missed and remembered by many other family and friends in Canada, The United States and the Philippines.
Divina was devoted to her Divine Mercy prayer group, an abed Mah-jongg player, enjoyed bowling with the Kapisanan Bowling League (1970's & 80's), ballroom dancing and a lover of travel. In lieu flowers donations may be to the Arthritis Society, Canadian Cancer Society, Covenant House, and Plan International.
On behalf of Divina, and for those who knew her lovingly as "Mrs. de Jesus", "Bing", "Baby", "Tita", "Auntie", "Ate", "Lola", "Grandma" and most importantly, "Mom", Ricardo, Edward and Mark would like to thank everyone who knew and loved her, laughed and cried with her and shared special moments with her throughout her life.
She was generous beyond words. We will truly miss this wonderful woman who affected so many. She will always be in our hearts and in our minds. She will never be forgotten.
Arrangements with Scott funeral home, BRAMPTON Chapel. In light of the current global pandemic with the present restrictions placed on group gatherings by the government, attendance at the funeral home has been restricted to a maximum capacity of 10 people. As a result, the visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.
For the health and well-being of everyone, we respectfully request that attendees at the funeral home comply with current Brampton by-laws by observing social and physical distancing and wearing masks.
