Baillargeon AileenBAILLARGEON, Aileen Margaret (Prendergast) - (1931 - 2020) - Aileen Margaret Baillargeon (Prendergast) passed peacefully with family by her side on December 4, 2020 at MacKenzie Health.

She is survived by her 6 children, Renée (Don), Denise (Dave), Tim (Barb), Michelle (Mike), Annette (Don) and Paul (Lorri), her 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She is also survived by her brother John Prendergast (Judy) of Kitchener/Waterloo and sister Helen Bugdale (Jim) of Montreal. She was predeceased by her sister Anne Beard (George).

Aileen has at long last, after 35 years apart, gone to join her loving husband Floyd Alexander Baillargeon Jr.

Aileen will be remembered as a loving mother to whom family always came first. She was also committed as a Red Cross volunteer where she devoted nearly 20 years doing work for the CNIB and Meals on Wheels. Aileen was generous with her time, enjoyed cottage life and thoroughly dedicated to celebrating each and every special family event. A devout Catholic, she instilled her family with a strong sense of ethics and morals.

The family would like to express our deep thanks to Richview Manor for taking great care with our mother for the past 9 months and to Mackenzie Health for their compassionate care. We would also like to thank her neighbours, Don and Eleanor Clayton at Wyndham Gardens, for all their assistance to Mom over the past several years.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the CNIB.

Arrangements are entrusted with Kane-Jerrett funeral home, Thornhill. Due to restrictions caused by COVID-19, services will be held privately for family at this time. Services will be livestreamed and a link will be provided via the funeral home website. Please join the family virtually on Thursday December 10th at 11 am for Funeral Mass.
