Smith PSMITH, Patrick Joseph “ P.J.” - January 29, 1932 – December 4, 2020 - It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of our devoted husband, father, grandfather and uncle who died peacefully at Scarborough General Hospital.

Will be sadly missed by Mary, his beloved wife of 60 years.

Devoted father to Aileen (Albert), Sean (Mia) and Joanne (Jeff).

P.J. was a Grandad who loved and proudly cheered on each of his grandchildren as they have grown into accomplished young adults.

They all loved and held him in great regard. Pamela and Doug; Phillip and Liam; Patrick and Carlyn and their mother, Lisa Wasylyk.

He will be missed by many relatives in Ireland and New York.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a private family service will be held followed by interment in Whitby, Ontario.

Sincere thanks to Fr. Peter Marr, Dr. Marcus, the nurses and hospital staff for their exceptional and compassionate care over the last 5 months.

If desired, in lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to Scarborough Health Network (Scarborough General Hospital, Tower 7) or to your charity of choice.
