HARRISON, Joan Iris (Burton) - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our Mother Joan Harrison on Friday December 4, 2020 at the age of 91 years in Brampton.
Our Mom is now reunited with our Dad, her beloved Leslie Harrison (predeceased).
She was a loving Mother to Susan (Brian), Dianne (Luciano) and Gail (Rick).
Joan was born in Toronto, Ontario on June 16th, 1929 to the late Dorman (Norman) Burton and Sarah Ann “Daisy” (nee Burt) and was the devoted sister to the late Norman, George, Violet, Roy and Audrey.
A Cherished “Nanny” to Caryn (James), Michael (Lara), Steven (Sandra), Matthew (Stacey), Jason (Clarissa), Leeanne (predeceased), Thomas, Kyle, Daniel (Andrea) and Amy (Chris).
Loving “Great Nanny” to Nicholas, Justin, Noah, Dylan, Elle, Adrianna, Christian, Ethan, Owen, Alessandra, Zoe and awaited Baby Gilbert.
Family was Mom’s greatest joy and she will be remembered with love in our hearts forever, and will be missed by her extended family and friends.
Our sincerest thanks to all who have shown their compassion, kindness and support during this most difficult time.
