Shevlen ColinSHEVLEN, Colin - Passed away comfortably January 10, 2021.

Colin was the best friend and husband of Jane Shevlen (nee) Conlin, and is also survived by sons Jeffery (Rhiannon Da Costa), Spencer (Gillian Harrison), John (Andrea Dorelli Shevlen), and grandchildren Finley, Rachel and Wolfi, all the lights of his life.

He is predeceased by many a beloved poodle, and survived by Pepper and Jojo.

Colin was born, raised, and educated in Toronto.

Colin’s favourite place to be, when not in Toronto, was Prince Edward Island. His love of PEI began 27 years ago with the purchase and renovation of “The Blue House”, circa 1845.

Meeting and talking to people was Colin’s favourite activity. He made friends easily and will be remembered for his wide interests, intelligence, curiosity, wit, charm and the twinkle in his blue eyes.

Colin was blessed to die as he wished, at home in the hands of his family and with the dedicated help of the Temmy Latner Palliative Care team.

Donations in Colin’s memory may be directed to Casey House in Toronto or the Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care. More information can be found on their websites.

A celebration of life will be held when all can gather safely.
