Evans CathyEVANS, Catherine 'Cathy' Jean - Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket on Saturday February 6, 2021, at the age of 84 years.

Beloved wife of the late Daniel Evans.

Loving mother of Doug Evans (Ida) of Richmond Hill, Tom (Nuala) of Innisfill and Brian (Cindy) of Keswick.

Cherished grandmother of Sandra, Steven, Amelia, Natalie, Maggie, Duncan, Griffin, and Danny.

Dear sister of Bill O'Hara (late June), Helen (Leon Kehoe), both of Richmond Hill, Dalene (Jon Smeets) of Huntsville and Gord O'Hara (Jeanne) of Huntsville.

She will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives, parishioners at Our Lady of the Lake Church and many friends.

She was a retired teacher, York Catholic School Board, fondly remembered by generations of past students in the area.

The family will receive friends by invitation only (Current COVID-19 restrictions include the mandatory wearing of masks and adhering to a social distancing protocol and only allowing 10 people in the building at a time) by invitation only, on Tuesday February 9, 2021. Funeral Wednesday February 10, 2021 for private family, allowing 9 people, at Our Lady of the Lake, Roman Catholic Church, Keswick, Ontario for a morning Mass. Interment at Richmond Hill, Ontario.

In memory of Cathy, donations to Southlake Regional Health Centre would be appreciated.
