Murphy ElvaMURPHY, Elva Mary Stella (nee Adair) - (March 11, 1934 – February 14, 2021) -  Peacefully, Elva Mary Stella (Adair) Murphy of Bradford, Ontario passed away in her 87th year.

Survived by her daughters Anne (husband Mike van Warmerdam), Janet, and granddaughters Jacqueline & Madeline.

Elva grew up on the 8th line in Bradford and was a farm girl at heart. She worked for Eaton’s, Salvation Army, and the Anglican Church Army.

Elva was also a Lay Minister in the Anglican church. Elva volunteered with the Girl Guides in Thornhill as Lieutenant. She was an active member of the knitting guild.

Heartfelt thanks to Bayview Extendicare in North York for their compassionate care.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society, Humane Society, Toronto Cat Rescue, or Camp Big Canoe would be appreciated.

A restricted graveside ceremony was held February19 at Mt. Pleasant cemetery, Bradford. Arrangements entrusted with Roadhouse and Rose funeral home, Newmarket.
