FRICKE, Hannelore Wendel - With profound sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, and Oma, Hannelore Wendel Fricke, who passed away peacefully on February 14, 2021, at the age of 88 years.
She will be lovingly missed by Joachim, her husband of 66 years, daughter Petra (Steve), and cherished grandsons Aidan, Linden, and Lakely.
Younger sister to Marianne and Heinrich (predeceased) of Rotenburg, Germany. Dear friend of the Weyrauch Family.
Hannelore was born in Rotenburg an der Fulda, Germany, on May 30th, 1932. Throughout her life, her love for her hometown remained steadfast. Always industrious, Hannelore’s hobbies included gardening and watching the birds. She enjoyed being at the Lake and baking for her adored grandsons.
A private family funeral will take place at 1 pm on Thursday, February 25th at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 8088 Yonge Street, Thornhill. Burial will follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery, Richmond Hill.
