BREBNER, Marilyn Louise (nee SIPPRELL)   - Passed away of natural causes, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 83, on February 17, 2021, at the North Shore Hospice, in North Vancouver.

She was born in Kirkland Lake on April 9, 1937.

She studied nursing at Royal Victoria Hospital in London, ON before moving to Toronto, where she practiced Public Health Nursing, and met and married Dr. John Brebner.

They had three children who have survived them, Carol McGrath (nee Brebner), Jim and Paul.

She is also survived by 7 grandchildren – Annie, Callahan, Aidan, Elliot, Kieran, Chloe and Maggie. She enjoyed a second happy marriage to "Jim" Beveridge, who was a true soul mate to her.

Marilyn was known for her love of the arts – music, painting, theatre - all things she enjoyed and shared with others.

We will miss her enormously, but are so grateful to have had such a wonderful mother in our lives.

We hope now she is happily cooking, reading and romping with dogs in a better place.
