Stackhouse PamelaSTACKHOUSE, Pamela Joyce  - Passed away peacefully, at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket, Ontario, on Friday, February 19, 2021.

Pam was born on January 26, 1930 in Bristol, England, to Edward and Grace Ford.

She immigrated to Canada as a teen.

Pam was predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob) and her daughter Roberta (Bobbi) Lynn.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa (Tere') Blanchet (Mike), her grandson Christopher (Ingrid), great-grandson Asher, her sister Mavis and brother Jeffery, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and other family members.

Pam was a loving, caring person who loved to travel, perform community work, and sing.

Her travels took her to Switzerland and New Zealand as well as the Caribbean.

Sarasota, Florida, was her and Bob's winter home for many years.

She also spent many years volunteering with the Newmarket Jaycettes, the Food Bank and in what was then the York County Hospital. Pam shared her fondness for singing as a member of the Newmarket Sweet Adelines.

The family would like to thank the many friends for their compassion and support during this difficult time.

A special thanks to the staff at Southlake whose care was provided with compassion and respect throughout this difficult period.

Another special thanks to the wonderful staff and fellow residents at the Renoir Retirement Residence who have provided great care and companionship for these past years.

The time and place for a Celebration of Life will be held once pandemic-induced travel and social restriction are lifted.
