Sabatini FilomenaSABATINI, Filomena Anna - (1940 - 2021) - It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our dearest Filomena Sabatini. Filomena passed away peacefully, surrounded by her daughters, on the afternoon of March 14th, 2021.

Filomena was a devoted wife to her husband of 61 years, Alberto, and mother to her daughters, Mary (Frank), Rosanna (Mauro), Daniela (Dwight) and Antonella (Virgilio).

Nonna Mena was adored by her 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Sammy (Erica), Josie (Loreto), Caroline (Lucas), Sabrina (Dante), Joseph (Jessica), Annie (Vincent), Andrew (Stefania), Bianca, Eric, Sofia (Jordan), Laura (Gabriel), Lisa, David, Valerie and Giovanna.

She is survived by her brother, Vincenzo D'Abruzzo, and sisters in-law Govanna D'Aruzzo, Teresa Sabatini and Vincenza Sabatini.

Filomena was born in Sant’Angelo del Pesco, Isernia, Molise, Italy. She followed Alberto to Canada at the age of 18 from Villa S. Maria, Chieti, Abruzzo, Italy, with the hope of building a great life together.

They worked tirelessly and devoted their lives to the creation of their success, the most important of which was their family. Filomena carried her achievements with a humble grace. Filomena made all things beautiful and with great care.

She joins her beloved husband, Alberto Sabatini, daughter, Antonella Di Sevo, brother, Ottorino D’Abruzzo and parents, Maria and Domenico D’Abruzzo, at rest.

The family would like to thank all who offered their support during this difficult time. A special thanks to Filomena’s caregivers, Myra, Cristy, Irene and Tsega for their continued efforts in her care.

Arrangements entrusted with Kane-Jerrett funeral home.
