FERNANDES, Kevin - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kevin on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the age of 72.
Devoted husband of Jean for 43 wonderful years. Proud and loving father of Ryan. Cherished brother of Leonardo Fernandes, Jennifer Affonso, Vernon Fernandes and Russell Fernandes.
Kevin has been reunited with his parents Lawrence and Josephine. He will be sadly missed by his many family, friends and his bowling league buddies of “The Codgers” and “The Vanguards.”
Kevin’s favourite past times included cooking, cricket and boxing. He now has the best seats in the house to watch his favourite teams - the Bluejays and the Raptors.
“Forever loved, always remembered.”
A private family mass will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Andrew’s Roman Catholic Church, Toronto at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, the funeral mass and interment will be private. Arrangements and livestream funeral details are entrusted with Ward funeral homes.
In lieu of flowers, Kevin's family asks that donations be made to Covenant House of Toronto and The Good Shepherd in honour of Kevin's life.
