McCowan JohnMcCOWAN, John Rae "Jack"   -  May 28, 1919 – June 5, 2021

Jack grew up on the family farm in Scarborough, at the foot of McCowan Road.

He is the last of the original McCowans as he was predeceased by his siblings: Robert (Bob), Helen (Lonnie), William (Bill) and James (Jim). He was the loving son of Harold and Janet.

He is survived by his wife Ethel (nee Britton), and sisters-in-law Nancy (nee Weir) and Pam (Morris).

He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Jack was a WWII Veteran of the RCAF.

Jack passed away peacefully, a week after celebrating his 102nd birthday.

We wish to thank all the medical teams at Port Perry Hospital and the staff at West Shore Living Retirement Village for their care. We will miss him dearly.

The memories that we have all shared over the years will forever be etched in our hearts.

When COVID restrictions are lifted, the family will plan a memorial service in his honour to be announced at a later date. Check the Ogden Funeral Home website for updates.

If desired, donations may be made to Lakeridge Health Port Perry.
