McEWEN, Jessie Todd   -  Jessie passed away peacefully, in her 90th year, on June 5, 2021, at Bethany Lodge in Unionville, with her son and daughter present.

Cherished wife of 62 years to the late Robert Duncan McEwen (2015).

Predeceased by her parents John and Effie Glancie and siblings David, Eric and Bill.

She was a loving mother to Robert John McEwen and Nancy Ann Wootton (Ian) and a proud grandmother to Gary (Paula) and Eric (Genna) and will also be remembered by her family of nieces and nephews.

Jessie was born in Ottawa, January 12, 1932, but grew up in Gananoque and had happy memories of that time in small-town Ontario.

Her family moved to Montreal where Jessie went to work at Royal Bank in downtown Montreal, where she met Bob and family life began.

When husband Bob retired in 1984, Jessie and Bob enjoyed many summers at the family cottage at Lac Gagnon, Quebec, where many wonderful memories were created for family and friends.

And, winter trips to Florida. Mom has now left us to be with dad, and we are going to miss her more than words can say. She lives on in our memories.

The family would like to offer a sincere thank you to all the staff at Bethany Lodge for the excellent care and compassion this past year.

A private ceremony was held at Unionville Presbyterian Church on June 16th. Interment to follow in Kingston.
