Phyl had a long and interesting life that included travel to many parts of the world with her dear friend Betty Frater.

Phyl was a truly vibrant and active person who was well liked by those who met and knew her.

Phyl enjoyed the last 5 years of her life with friends she made at The Briton House.

She was predeceased by parents Henry (Harry) and Alice Jane (Jenny) Marshall, sister Alice Hansen (husband Howard), sister Doris (Dolly) Marshall, nephews Bruce and Ross Hansen and dear friend Betty Frater.

She is survived by sister Elsie and brother-in-law Ken Smith, nephew Michael Smith, nieces Maren Watts, Val Borlang (David), Lea Smith (Grant Jackson), Lisa Durocher (Mike) and Judy Lynch (Cal Skene) and several great nieces and nephews.

Phyllis wished to return to Kenora to be buried with her parents and sister Dolly. Her family will hold a graveside service in Kenora, Ontario at a later date.
