Search BrianSEARCH, Brian Charles  -  Passed away peacefully, on January 23, 2022, after a courageous journey with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).

Brian was born on September 15, 1957 and spent his childhood on the Toronto Island (Wards Island), later residing in the Upper Beaches area of Toronto where he and his wife raised their family.

Son of the late Olive and Stewart Search. Loving husband of Suzanne (nee O'Neill) Search.

Devoted father to Kristen Armstrong (Cole) of Toronto, ON and Carolyn Brander (Will) of Norval, ON.

Loving grandfather to Benson Brander and James Armstrong.

Brian is fondly remembered by all of his loving cousins.

He had a close-knit circle of lifelong friends who rallied around him during his illness.

Brian retired from the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in 2012, after a career of dedicated service.

Brian's kindness, humor and caring nature will be missed by all whom he touched and influenced throughout his lifetime. Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
