Benner RalphBENNER, Ralph   -  August 10, 1926 – April 11, 2022

With great sadness, but proud of a life well-lived, the family announces that Ralph has passed on to meet his Lord and savior, and joins his parents, Edward and Hilda, and recently departed siblings: Irene, Frank and Dorothy, in heaven.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Muriel, and sisters Verna and Caryl (Cecil).

Born and raised in Orillia, Ralph fondly remembered fun times at Sparrow Lake, and socializing with friends and relatives, at many social and church gatherings.

There, Ralph met his future wife, Muriel North and the North family of Hamilton, Ontario.

This year would mark 70 years of marriage together.

Ralph is also survived by 7 children (Richard, Stephen, Sharon, Jonathan, Matthew, Joanne, Jacqueline) 20 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren. Ralph graduated from Queen's University, Chemical Engineering, 1948.

He partnered and founded numerous successful Chemical and Process Industry companies, over the next 40 years.

He will always be remembered for his outgoing personality, optimism and love of people and nature.

Service at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, Saturday, April 23, 2022. Visitation 10-11, Service 11-12, Reception 12-1.
